RULES AND REGULATIONS
MEGA FINISHER
SOUTH AMERICA RUN SERIES
O MEGA FINISHER (South America Run Series) is a circuit of marathons and half-marathons that takes place in the capital cities of 5 South American countries: Asunción (Paraguay); Brasília (Brazil); Buenos Aires (Argentina); Lima (Peru) and Montevideo (Uruguay), and is organized by the company Mega Finisher Ltd. in partnership with the organizations of the 5 races that make up the MEGA FINISHER.
2.1 The 5 races that make up the circuit are as follows, with their 6 dates in 2026:
Montevideo Marathon (Uruguay): 05/10/2026;
adidas Rimac Lima 42K (Perú): 05/24/2026;
Buenos Aires Medium Marathon (Argentina): 08/23/2026;
Asunción International Marathon (Paraguay): 08/30/2026;
Buenos Aires Marathon (Argentina): 09/20/2026;
Brasilia Monumental Marathon (Brazil): November 22, 2026.
3.1 Regarding internal decisions, the organizers are independent of the circuit, for example: defining dates, number of participants, routes, registration fees, attracting sponsors, among others.
4.1 Each organization will define the number of participants in their respective races, according to technical limits, without any interference or imposition by MEGA FINISHER.
5.1 Athletes wishing to participate in the MEGA FINISHER must register on the official website. www.megafinisher.com.
5.2 Only after registration can the athlete request the inclusion of race results from circuit events they have participated in since 2023.
5.3 Registration for MEGA FINISHER is completely free and will not incur any costs beyond those expected for registering for each participating marathon and/or half-marathon.
5.4 Athletes who are 18 years old on December 31st of each year for the half marathon distance and 20 years old for the marathon distance may participate in the circuit.
6.1 An athlete duly registered in one of the races of the circuit will have up to 60 months to complete the 5 races of the circuit, at the marathon or half-marathon distance, counting this period from the 1st participation in one of the races that are part of the circuit.
7.1 The athlete who completes all 5 races of the circuit at the marathon or half-marathon distance within a period of 60 months will be entitled to the MEGA LEGEND (a special medal exclusive to marathon and half-marathon finishers).
7.2 The MEGA LEGEND medals for the marathon and half marathon will be differentiated by the color of the metal, being gold for the marathon distance and silver for the half marathon.
8.1 It may be created, at the discretion of the organization of Mega Finisher, a ranking divided by distance (marathon and half marathon), gender (male and female) and age group (in 5-year increments), with the classification following the average performance of each participant in the respective distance.

For the purposes of age brackets, the age on December 31st of each year will be considered.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS
9.1 By registering for MEGA FINISHER, participants accept these regulations and the rules of CONSUDATLE, World Athletics and AIMS.
9.2 Participants accept the specific regulations of each of the 5 races that make up the MEGA FINISHER Circuit.
10. GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.2 An athlete who has chosen, or who, through ignorance, has started the circuit by running the half marathon distance, may restart the circuit at the marathon distance in the following stage, and receive the MEGA LEGEND 42K upon completing all 5 stages of the circuit at the marathon distance within a period of 60 months.
10.3 Athletes with 3 or more races may have priority/preference to register for races, if there are places reserved by the organization exclusively for circuit participants who have not yet participated in their respective distances and, therefore, complete the circuit.
10.4 Registration for MEGA FINISHER will not incur any costs beyond those expected for registering for each participating marathon and/or half marathon, in addition to licensed products or products sold directly online or at the Expos for each race.
